DOGE employee cuts fall heavily on agency that regulates Musk’s Tesla
Used to be below industry wages, in return for job security. Nowadays, the average gub'ment employee makes above the private sector wages. Where I had to work over 30 years to get a full pension. Not 20. (I didn't make the 30 years. A lot of us got canned just before we were fully vested. A common practice in today's private sector job market). And it's not like they're not vested from the first day, albeit it at a limited rate. Just like the good private sector jobs, if you're lucky enough to get one of those and not one of the new and zoomy jobs that offer no security and only a 401K. Plus, you just had to resort to insults. You couldn't help it. Typical lefty. When they got nothing, they go to the insults and claiming racist, fascist or homophobe. -

You're right, it’s bizarre. Trump brokered peace agreements in the Middle East, but none of the countries were actually at war. His failure to include Palestine and moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem likely caused the recent Israeli-Palestinian war. Trump’s "peace efforts" really deserve an Ig Nobel Peace Prize, joining past winners like: 2005: Pepsi Philippines, for causing 800,000 people to riot by announcing the wrong contest number, uniting warring factions in chaos. 2007: Jacques Chirac, for celebrating Hiroshima’s 50th anniversary with atomic bomb tests. 2010: Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan, for proving politicians make more progress by punching each other than by waging war. 2019: The Royal Navy, for ordering sailors to stop using live cannon shells and instead just shout "Bang!"
