Which is the best way to get a one way ticket from Bangkok to London?

Been on internet but all seem to be from UK to Thailand. Any ideas?

Thanks

Best way to buy from Thailand but guess that is not a good idea in your case. I would call airline or travel agent direct as that is the job they do. Being in UK and wanting a one way to the UK does not add up on the Internet. Be aware there is probably going to be a shortage of tickets as this is a major holiday week and there likely will be large numbers of visitors flying out in the next few days.

Check out local travel agents or the tourist magazines here.

They will quote you prices.

Note, it may be cheaper to buy a return and throw away the other coupon.

You can actually book tickets from Bkk - Lhr on ebookers not sure of the price though, on there main page it only allows from UK but if you go to bottom of the page you see all diff flags click on the world icon and it allows you to get prices for worldwide flights.

Normally there is not much difference in price. If you are feeling brave enough you could call Phuket Air, not sure of the number but they are in Lumpini Building. Also the internet is not always reliable on availability and going direct to flight operator you may still get the flight that you want. The otherway is to go to the airport and wait for a standby flight.

Phuket Air :D A combination of walk and swim is a safer option :o

http://www.travelocity.co.th - you can check prices and even book a one-way ticket. However, last time I used them, I had to pick up the ticket at a travel agent in Bangkok, as there were no e-tickets at the time.

http://www.KLM.co.th does do e-tickets to the UK (to Bristol even), although normally, with e-ticket bookings, the cardholder has to be one of the people flying. (and KLMs one way tickets seem to be more expensive than their return tickets).

Thanks for all your advise.

We have gone through the airline route and she is flying with Royal Jordanian Airlines for £ 250.00 all taxes, including departure tax paid.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.
