To Anyone Going To Mbk Soon

Featured Replies

If anyone is gonna pop into MBK anytime soon, I would really appreciate it if you could get me a price on an HTC HD2 :)

Not sure whether to buy it when I am now (Taiwan) or in BKK when I get there in 3 weeks.

Thank you!

Thank you - so quiite a bit cheaper here then :)

How much is it in Taiwan?

Apparently cheaper than here Hazri - but you don't get the Thai font.

Using XE.com as ref, I made it out to be around £500 at the Thai prices and £420 at Taiwan pricing.

I'm guessing the Thai one has English though - the one here is Chinese only, so you need to do a bit of flashing jiggery pokery to get it to display English (namely flashing it with the HK firmware, to get both C + E)

Thanx James. Nice phone, IMO. Out of my budget though. :)

Does it come with Flash plugin/player?

( Sorry for the double posts. My bad)

If I buy this phone on my next visit to the UK would I be able to use it with my Thai sim when I'm in Thailand? Or would I need to get it worked on at an electronics mall?

This site allows you to see current pricing by model number based on recent purchases. Generally speaking a "box shop" (wholesale) in MBK will have the lowest prices. The best box shop in MBK is NASA (4th floor, far back wall straight ahead after leaving Tokyu), and easy to find owing to the huge crowd of Thai people.
