paulfr
If you go to one of the public tennis courts, they have Thai men there who are called "knockers" who can hit with you. But they are not certified coaches even if they say they are. But some of them are fairly good and can give a beginner some tips. Santisook on Soi 38 has a few good ones. The new club down Rama 3 Soi 64 has some real tennis teachers. It is called LeSmash Club. It is likely to become private soon although they should still give lessons to non members too. Pyramid Tennis Academy in Lat Krabang out Route 7 near the new airport has 12 courts and the teachers there should be fairly good I would think. PM me if you want more info. mauiguy90
Timo is a German-Thai tennis professional who speaks English fluently. He teaches tennis at Sukhumvit 38, closeby to the Santisuk tennis courts at a place called Sunshine apartments. He is one of the nicest guys you will meet and is an excellent instructor, although his hourly rates are a bit high (unless you do a group lesson). His number is 084-671-8478. javi005
Hi, my name is Gabriel Hernandez, i'm the Head Coach at LeSmashClub, to open soon (2nd. week of January), althought, like paulfr said, now is also available for non-members to rent a court. Now i'm outside the country but i'll be back for the 1st. days of Jan, so you are very welcome to come around anytime, for all kind of lessons, from ladies groups, individuals, etc...Everybody else is also welcome to come around and have a look at the new facility.
