Penang Visa Trip Company

Featured Replies

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a decent visa trip company here in Phuket (prefered in Rawai/Chalong area)or did anybody did this trip already recently?

I'm planing to do the trip to Penang for a tourist visa and was asking already 2 companies... But actually the people working there have not really been friendly/nice + competent and they mostly using this terrible (mostly old) uncomfortable mini busses...! (and packing them full of people..)

I would prefer a nice/modern/"new" bigger van or whatever is comfortable for this quite long trip..!

I'm thankful for every information/tip!

Thnks a lot

I PM'd you the company i went with.

Their van is a Toyota Commuter which is about as big as a 'mini van' as you can get without it being a bus.

They drive pretty fast - but they all do.

If you want speed and comfort - then fly.

If you want to to save money then you have to suffer a little bit !

It was cheaper to fly last time I looked. Something like 2k compared to 4.5k for the crazy bus.

I've done it once and he got lost on the way back just back into Thailand. Never again.

Fire flyz . com for flights to Penang.

edit: Fly to Udon Thani, pay for the tickets TODAY with AirAisa and return to Phuket is 1500bt. Pop over the boarder to Laos and get a double TR visa for free. Hotels are 600bt a night.

Flying is probably cheaper. I went by bus last month and everything is done for you and i had no problems. Infact the bus driver had asked us to wait at the hotel at 11am (Thai time)to be brought back to get our passports but when he arrived he had already been and and collected our passports and we went on our way.

The bus was comfortable and there was only 4 on the bus. The company is beside the the 7/11 and petrol pump on rawai beach.
