Hello My Name Is Walter ,,I live in Canada ,,Have been in Thailand several Times now.I am in the process of marrying a Thai lady.I want her to move to Canada as soon as possible,,I hooked up with a Visa Law Firm in BKK last year ,They are guaranteeing Visa production in the amount of 4000.00 CD.I paid them 1 000,00 CD so far .

My question is ,,has anyone heard about this company ? And what is their success rate ?

I am planning to live in Thailand for the rest of my life 10 years down the road .

I like this Forum and I hope to get some feedback from more experienced people .

Happy Greetings

Seeing that this topic is about a visa for travel to Canada I am moving it from the forum “Thai visas, residency and work permits” to the forum “Visas and migration to other countries”

I know nothing about the visa application process for Canada, and have not heard of this company. Are they members of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC)?

Have a read of Visa Agents, Read this before using one.

No company can guarantee a visa; the applicant either qualifies for the visa or they don't. If your wife does qualify then the best an agent can do is advise you on the best way of showing that she does; if she doesn't then there is nothing any agent can do to get her one.

VERY TRUE: "No company can guarantee a visa; the applicant either qualifies for the visa or they don't."

I think you should apply for a 'fiancee type visa' of Canada and then bring her into Canada rather than the step you are

taking.

* I will give you a real good example. I am a US citizen married to a Thai wife with our child living in Thailand. Last year

I applied for a US travel/tour visa for my wife (to visit my parents for a reunion) and guess what,, the US embassy denied or

rejected her application. I don't know exactly why the visa was rejected as I am well established with a home in US and in

Thailand and with financial & taxation record.
