I've heard of similar experience with friends who have thai significant others. Thai women seem to have some sort of psychic ability or something. My wife has had numerous incidents where she feels something bad is going to happen and we are involved in a bus accident, or she feels something good will happen and we win the lottery. She'll call me and say she felt something wrong or good happened to me at work and sure enough we either had a horrible day at the shop or got recognized for outstanding work. Does anyone else have experiences like this?

Loads of them. Most notably, the old gf would go with her family to "the sacred tree", scrape some bark off and wait for the tree spirit to arrive and give them the three numbers to win the black lottery. They used to regularly win 10-16,000 Baht.

The mother of my current gf is a mai chee and faith healer in a local temple. It's amazing how many locals go to visit her for the ailments they claim the hospitals can't clear up. She apparantly has a very good success rate.

Thailand's full of superstitions, mainly arising from their animist, spirit worshipping background.

Of course nothing happens to me but then she calls back and says "we were in a bus crash!!!"

there are it seems many strange and inexplicable things going on in LOS.

i cant explain many of them . weird goings on.

one i recall was when someone in my house died .

the next week i had incredibly LOUD thuds on the wall of my bedroom outer wall.

these thuds were so LOUD i cant explain how anyone human could have made them .

if a guy stood and banged the wall with a sledgehammer it wouldnt have been heavy enough and there was no marks on the wall that could have been left by a large hammer

or someone banging it with a large object .

it would have taken a wrecking ball swung from a crane to make these noises and it would have demolished the wall in the process .

i cant figure out what happened , it defies explanation .

then there are the Naga fireballs too.

When my wife has numbers in her dreams she rushes out and buys a lottery ticket....

Although we have had no wins we have had numbers transposed. i.e she dreamt 15 and the winning number was 51....
