Second Hand Cookers

Featured Replies

Im in a temp rental place which has no kitchen and i have a few months left on my lease until i fiind a new place with a western kitchen so in the meantime i would be prepared to buy a cheapy second hand cooker....has anyone got any ideas where i could get one from without spending shed loads of cash.

For around 1500Baht you can find a 2 flame gas cooker in all the shops, a new one.

Happy cooking!

By Cooker do you mean oven, grill and top burners :)

I saw a Sanyo 3 burner with oven (no grill) in Makro a few weeks ago for about 5500 bht.A mate bought one a couple years ago.Works fine.I am off to Makro today. Will check it out.

Could look at getting a couple of burners and a microwave like 'oven' which can be taken to the next location..

My buddy can do a whole roast in one with a bit of planning.. Not ideal but an option.

Sorry no do anymore at Makro.I would love to know who does the ordering at Makro.Today no loose onions, no garlic,no frozen chicken breast and no sticky rice.Everything I went for.Mai Me. Wasted journey that was.

You can also get little convection ovens which are quite good for as little as 2000 bht

We have a good Fagor oven, surplus to requirements, will let go for 2000 bht

It's in full working order, very well made, good make.
