Stabbing At Nye

I was outside Bandon clinic in Had Rin at about 2am on NYE and saw a farang being taken away to a speedboat to Samui. He had 3 (I think) fairly large stab wounds in his lower back and was unconscious. I have been thinking about him due to the seriousness of his injuries and I wonder if anyone has any news about his condition?

I was also at the party and was wondering if anyone knows of a website containing news about Koh Phangan. I didn't see this poor guy with the suspected stab wounds but did witness the fireworks misshap which must have hurt some people who were nearby the fireworks launching stage. There was at least one or two large fireworks explosions at ground level, sending fireballs streaking through the crowd. I figure that some people must have been injured but can't seem to find any info about the night online.

Also, does anyone who was at the party know where it ranks in terms of number of partiers attending? I've only been to one other about 5 years ago and this one was much bigger.
