Loud Night Market In Bophut

Featured Replies

Thanks God the market has moved from the Family Mart near "Fisherman's Village" traffic light further to Big C down the main road.

But it is still loud. Can hear the atrocious karaoke inside my room about 2 km away. Just been there to take a look, it is as bad as it is loud, a dirty place with a huge scene and speakers, maybe 15-20 drunks supposedly enjoying this rubbish.

They would be fine with half of the volume for sure. Didn't dare to talk to them yet, I wonder if it helps at all.

It says the market is from 7 to 15 this month and there's a little hope that the madness will reach its climax tomorrow and sunday and become more quite on Monday, but anyway it's not nice.

Have to see what time they finish tonight. Suspect 2-3 am like the last night again

I know my question is naive but is there a civilized way to get the volume down a bit?

Or if it involves paying to music mafia then how much?

What do you think?

the funny thing is, they go around the Island and will be back at the same place (near your house) in about 1 month;)

Yes, they come soon to the family mart place again and then to the bigC spot.

...well if it's funny enough, everyone have a good laugh about it,

take the free lesson learned and pack up - lesson learned?

Yep, the lesson NEVER ever to buy or rent a place long term unless lived there for at least one year, all year round,

only then one may know - but surprises may occur in the land of smiles anytime,

anywhere and catch up with oneself completely off guard - TiT!

take it as a man, take the consequences - stop whinging! SORRY!

For some the wind blows too strong, the heat is unbearable,

the food too spicy, the air too humid, a rock concert too noisy... :)

the bed too soft/hard.. the nut's too nutty... name it!

No need to miss out kosh, try Koh Racha just off Phuket. :)

just a bunch of ignorant people since the music is Issan can only assume the bands from Issan. driving me mad to, off the island in a few days, back to some sort of civilization thank god. not much chance getting the music turned down.

empty barrels make most noise and Thais seem good at making alot of noise .
