Become A Buddist Get A Thai Passport ?

Featured Replies

Hi

I've just been reading a website that states if you become a Thai Buddist then you can get Thai Citizenship and a passport. Personally I think think this is BS.

Comments anyone ?

BS. Every Burmese and Sri Lankan would be scrambling for a Thai passport.

Even if you ordain as a Buddhist monk you will still not get citizenship or passport.

It is indeed utter BS!

religious affiliation i.e. becoming a Thai Buddhist or via the law of return to Israel

Hahahaha....send us 1,000 Euro and we'll email you back the website for the Thai Elite card.

**yes, of course Elite doesn't offer citizenship either**

That little gem was started about 15 years ago by Dr W Hill

Seems like Dr Hill is everywhere - or people copying him are.

met untiul the end of this year.

I guess that if you want a second passport for a country, the best and legal way to do this is to approach the embassy or consulate in your country and ask them ?

They was a load of Ceylon passports being sold off as camoflage documents.

They were advertised as genuine passports physically but not valid as the country was now called Sri Lanka.

and therefore useless as tits on a bull :o:D

The Ceylon passports were being sold as camouflage, not to actually be used. For example, if terrorists hijack your plane and start killing all Americans, the idea was for you to pull out your trusty Ceylon passport and say, "no, not me; I'm Ceylonese!" Right.

Terrorists never learnt geography ? :o

They were betting that terrorists would be morons.

I googled it and such passports do exist at $US 100 a shot. My terrorist will have been a geography teacher in his last job :o
