I am a dual UK and Canadian citizen (legal) and have passports from both countires. Upon my next renewal of 1 year extension based on retirement, can I transfer from Canadian passport to UK passport? My income is from Canada.

You entered Thailand on your UK passport, so for immigration purposes you are here as a UK-citizen. To change that to a Canadian citizen you would probably have to leave the country, get a new visa and re-enter on your Canadian passport. (This is just my educated guess, as I never have seen a case like this).

As for the income, if the income is from abroad it has to be confirmed by your embassy (in this case the UK one), regardles of the country where the money is earned. Depending on your evidence of your income, it shouldn't be a problem.

I entered Thailand on my Canadian passport as I have lived in Canada since 1973. I would like to transfer visa to UK passport as its issued for 10 years as opposed to 5 years for the Canadian one.
