devaram
How can I view or reset google.com news in english? It is now comming up in thai only with no link to change to english and all the articles are from thailand only. Is this the same type of censoring as in china? By the way google created the back door for hacking its clients email accounts for the us government and the chinese simply used the back door created by google. Rather unfair of them to blame the chinese? This article showed up on cnn written by bruce schneier if you want to search for it...

PoorSucker
You have to change your google language to English. I usually go and change to Esperanto and then to English. Because Esperanto is the only language spelled with Roman characters.
elcent
set your browser to google.com in English in internet option for starting page.

paulfr
Yes this problem has bothered me now for a week or so. I simply cannot get it to show Google in english, even if I paste in the url which gives me Google english on my work machine. It insists on redirection to Thai and all seaches come up in Thai. Annoying as heck

hansnl
Never had that problem before, however, last week no TOT-internet for TWO days. Not only TOT, but also True for one day. After that, slow.....slow......slow...... A considerable amount of complaints produces a personal TOT presence in the house. Reprogrammed the modem, attached new cabling (no charge) Now it works, but slow. New Government filtering, maybe? Nod.... Jdietz
Go to: www.google.com/ncr for 'no country redirect' this will always get you the default English page wherever you are. From the, you can click news from the top left menu bar, etc.
nam-thip
I downloaded firefox from Cnet downloads the other day and it came in Thai. I then went to their web-site and chose to download it in English language.........................It was still in Thai so i dumped it and downloaded CometBird which comes in English. It makes me think that with some of these browsers they pick up on your ISP location and give you a local version?
TwentyBaht
Yes, I second Jdeitz. /ncr will work nicely. I did the same. And, if you wish to, then reset the browser homepage.
elcent
clear your browser cache and it will work. t's taking it from the memory and will always slip to Thai unless your clear internet history, cookies etc..
ignis
Think the problem is when you 1st set up Windows... I had the same problem a few years ago when I setup stating I was in Thailand. Added language was English UK, Everything was Thai by default, Everything I had to change manually to English. I reset to Windows UK and everything was from then on in English, and the added language was Thai. My present system in Vista and again is by default set to UK, with Thai as an added language.. Everything was bought here as well as the license.
