Hi all.

I was a recovering aspartamene addict (pepsi max) until freindship ran out of Robinsons Special R Low calorie squash

Does anyone knwo where else sells this in or araound pattaya ?

it used to be called 'Special R' but i've seen bottles that say 'no added suger' in place of the 'special R' name also

i'm after orange / orange + mango / orange + pinapple / apple + blackcurrent.

all of whihc freindship ran out of around 3 weeks ago :)

there prices as usual were heavily inflated . 147 baht for a 1 littre bottle which costs around 88p (44 baht) in the UK

however it was one of the few drinks i could replace pespi max addiction with lol.

seriously tho being hooked on the sweetner aspartamene sucks. and gettign thru 5 litres of ther stuff a day is not good news.

drink water.. yes i know. . but this robinsons stuff is my half way mark by slowly decreasing the strenth of it with more and more water.

so in short .

has anyone seen Robinsons "Special R' or 'no added suger' concentrate drinks anywhere orhter than freindship please. :D

Never looked so have no idea up here.

Friend that goes to the south every month buys at the Malaysian Boarder 'SunQuick' sugar free Orange or Tangerine concentrate..

I have noticed a few vendors that sell stuff from Malaysia around, but a lot more expensive than on the Boarder...

eg: small electric shop near me has a corner selling lots of things.... as a pointer.... Gold Blend Coffee in Supermarkets is around 400 baht, [Carrefour last week 398baht] in the electric shop by me from Malaysia is 199 baht, from the Malaysia boarder is 124 baht.

Look somewhere different than the supermarket... The Mall at Nontaburi has at least 1 stall holder that sells lots of food/drink items from Malaysia, likewise last time I drove to BKK noticed vendors stalls in MBK.... No idea if these vendors buy from Malaysia or in Thailand at the boarder

Edit: Also very good buys is chocolate, many different types of nuts, many different types of biscuits

Saw this product advertised in the Tops Suk 19 Flyer. By the way, this branch has been completely renovated and resembles the Tops a Central Chidlom. Excellent!
