Pop along to the local office to where you will be living. They will accept it.

Take with you any proof of your new address in case it is needed.

i probably will not have hard proof because i'm just renting in my new location but i'll try

thx steve

You might be considered as living where your wife lives (is registered in a tabien baan), as that is the purpose of the extension.

could we say that displaying the wife's tabien baan at the time of the marriage extension application serves the purpose of verifying location of residence as far as the local immigration office is concerned? I note that no embassy letters, utility bills, etc. are required for this purpose at the time of application.
