February 7, 201016 yr D-MAX 2006 I want to change my Radio, but I dont know how to remove it. Is there any instruction available? I dont`t want to destroy something thanks in advance
February 8, 201016 yr Author OK, radio is out. (easy) But now I need a wiring diagram. Is it available somewhere?
February 8, 201016 yr This is off the top of my head but I'm prety sure its standard still. Black = Ground Red = Positive Yellow/orange = Switch ignition Blue = Pre Amp / Antenna Power supply (switched at stereo) Green Pair with black stripe = speaker1 White Pair with black stripe = speaker2 Grey Pair with black stripe = speaker3 Purple Pair with black stripe =speaker4 To determine which speaker wire corresponds to which speaker, you can connect an AA 1.5V battery across the colored pairs I mentioned above and you will hear an audible thump/crackle coming from the corresponding speaker. Also with the yellow and orange wire I think one needs a permanent feed, check with the ignition of which wire has power with a voltmeter or light bulb accross ground, this will be the memory supply line. Hope this helps some.
February 8, 201016 yr Pomthai, you have pretty much outlined what the aftermarket stereo will be wiring wise, I highly doubt the D-Max will be the same... VelTins, Ive just emailed an auto electrican in know in Australia asking for the 2006 Holden Rodeo (Same as D-Max) wiring diagram, I'll let you know as soon as i get a reply.

I believe izu is using denso radios, so should be 8 pin din. compatible to plug and play most brands. try sony, alpine or kenwood to avoid wiring, just plug&play.

Aerpro list a harness adaptor (#APP063)for the 2006 Holden rodeo, which is the same vehicle as a 2006 D-Max so im guessing simply connecting the aftermarket stereo plug to the OEM will not work.

Ok I figured it out. it was easy, like described some posts before. I cut the cables and soldered them to the Radio Unit. (7" China All in one device with GPS etc.) But now one more Question: I brought my Radio from Europe and now my friend wants the same. Any suggestions for a shop which sells these devices? Pattaya/Bangkok
