thank you very much samuian, during months I did asked myself each time visiting Koh Samui and no one seemed to have or to need the clue I was looking for until I found out in chaweng next to The Island hole ( not a good one ) the one renting kayaks, boards etc....he had a book listing all the tides levels for a year a head but did only allowed me to look at it no more.

Like it was a precious information no one should know. Since I have reduced my visits to Samui to its once a year minimum for various reasons excluding the above reason indeed only valuable for fishing or sailing not to play golf or bozing at night. Best of all to you, brd P.S. not all the local changes are to my taste any longer and locals abusing foreigners is a bore.
