Hi guys,

we are playing basketball at the Chiang Mai University, 6 p.m. almost every night. (they have lights there !)

The University is located in the east.

use google maps: "chiang rai 2 chiang mai thailand"

it will give you a marker right next to the basketball fields, they are located on the right hand side of the road, after the football field and the swimmingpool.

Hope some more (foreign) players like to join.

You cant miss me, im the tall white guy.

if u are having problems finding the way IM me, and ill pick you up somewhere.

cheers

Will

Hey! You still balling at 6 p.m. at CMU? Next to the Clock tower right? I have always been looking for a place to ball. I use to ball for fun at my old school CMIS when I came back but I got bored. Who plays?

3-3 half court? or 5-5 full? Some Thais or foreigners?

5-5 full court and still the best basketball in the city. 99% Thai. There's a couple foreigners that show up once in awhile. I heard there's games at Grace International School on Sunday afternoons, probably all foreigners.

Not that I know of, but you might go check out other university campuses. The university games (not sure what you call it officially) are coming up next month and many universities have women's basketball teams practicing now. They are usually pretty informal in my limited experience and are happy to have some extra competition.

do you know if there is some women's basketball in chiang mai as well? the outdoor basektball in cmu is all men's teams, right?:)

while there are some good players at CMU, the packed in 2-3 zone that seems to be solely played makes for a jump shooting/3-point contest.
