whistleblower Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Can you buy Farleys Rusks in Bangkok anywhere? Looked in Villa and couldnt see them.
quiksilva Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I have looked high and low too, couldn't find them either. I ended up getting my folks to ship them over.
whistleblower Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 Yeah i'm guessing thats what i will have to do. I couldnt even find a Thai equivalent.
aussiebebe Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 I couldn't find Farley's Rusks in BK when my son was born two years ago; it's the only time FoodLand has ever failed me! Funny really, considering how many Heinz products they sell. I lost interest in rusks after reading a survey about them having 30% sugar and ended up feeding my son Nestle Cerelac instead. Wheat is wheat, right? If you do try to get rusks posted over, I think Heinz now sell reduced-sugar ones.

Boo Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Boots sell a similar product but without the crap loads of sugar. They do apple & other fruit flavours too, flavoured with fruit water. Personally I wouldn't give my son rusks cause of the sugar so if a parcel is being sent over, then ask for some boots ones too as an alternative to try.

Boo Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 it's just their own brand, here is a link; http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Baby-Organic...in-Packs-_5127/ And I forgot about the rice cakes too, my son loved these & they are small enough for a baby/toddler to hold themselves. There is more choice instore usually if it is a large branch too. http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Baby-Organic...kes-50g_998605/ Organix if quite a good brand too. http://www.boots.com/en/Organix-Baby-Biscuits-100g_982330/ And I can also recommend the Plum range baby dried cereal, the flavours are great, my son loved then & although a bit pricey the boxes are quite big & can last for a couple of month. Mix with formula, breast milk or cows milk depending on what stage your child is at http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ser...amp;st=category
