And what a waste of a PPV that was for all those stupid enough to pay for it. Whatever happened to fighters fighting rather than dancing about for 12 rounds. The black guy was lucky if he won 1 round. Just glad I didn't pay for it as it was free with Platinum.

I take it the "Pacman" won then, I was so excited about it all that I forgot to watch!

can't blame Pacman he came to fight, Clottey just hid behind his guard for 12 rounds and neverlooked like he wanted to try and win

I agree totally. At some point in a fight a so called "fighter" has to make an attempt to win. After the first 6 rounds of hiding behind his gloves the fight was all over. It was a disappointment after all the buildup. There was nothing that Packman could do to get Clottey out of his hide and cover up stance. Pacman even went so far as to let Clottey hit him... just to make a fight of it. But, even then, Clottey refused to fight. All pacman could do was hit Clottey around the edges with a continuous barrage of punches to the hands and sides. At one point, pacman actually opened up himself to attack and cuffed Clottey around the ears with both hands at the same time. Any good fighter would have pasted a wide open pacman... but it was not to be. Everyone who saw it broke into laughter.

Oh well, it was a big payday for Clottey and further hypes an eventual fight with Mayweather. Mayweather won't play the same game as Clottey.

Manny Pacquiao is "The Congressman"

Pacquiao wins a congressional seat in the Philippines. Fight with Mayweather on the horizon?

Manny Pacquiao has now taken the tag "People's Champ" literally.

After several days of vote-counting, he was finally proclaimed by the canvassers as the winner of the congressional race for Sarangani, Mindanao, Philippines.

The results showed that total number of votes for the boxing champion almost doubled his opponent's. The tally for Pacquiao is 120,052. His opponent, Roy Chongbian, received 60,099 votes.
