Non Imm "o" Visa Run From Samui To ?

hello all,

I was wondering where /what would be the best option to get a new Non Imm O visa. I am mobile,(car) and have no probs driving on the mainland. My wife (thai) will have to stay on the island to watch our herd of dogs and cats!! I usually do this in Australia-or fly to Kuala Lumpur, but having purchased a vehicle, I was wondering if there was a "land' based option!!!-ie cheaper option!!

Any help or suggestions would be welcomed!!!

u would have to see a lawyer or an acccoutant. some of them can sorte out 1 year visa here u don't have to leave the country and thy can do for u in suat thani but u need all the right paper work and the right criteria. not sure hwat it is for NoN O but for no B u need a compnay and salury of over 50 k per month tax on that salary. staff pay slips.ad loads of stuff like compnay balance sheets bank statements. so not sure about O ut that is for B.

When I said "land based option" and cheaper-I meant where is the closest place to obtain visa, accessable by road/ferry -ie with thai consulate-malaysia or burma etc!!! All paperwork for "O" is in order etc.

i had to make a quick type o run and the best way for me was fly to phuket, air asia to kl and back it was fast not to costly and better than penang, as the vias office is iffy in penanag.

You can fly USM-KL (Subang) with Firefly

kota baru or penang are the closest, but give them a phone call before especially for penang.
