Is it possible to renew hgv and psv licence from the Republic of Ireland while living in Thailand.

You dont say if the renewal is due to the dreaded medical which I assume it is.

If this is the case I am not sure that you will be able to, When my LGV/PSV were due for renewal I phoned DVLA and asked the same question, they told me that they would not accept a medical certificate filled in by a doctor or hospital in Thailand but there are other countries within the EU that they would accept.

Your best bet would be to contact the licensing department in your own country for peace of mind, I returned back to the UK and got my medical done by one of the many medical practises that advertise on the web.

Long time ago for me but l think your medical in the UK has to be included with the renewal. Look on the Net bud.
