I'm looking to rent a room in downtown Pattaya initially for the month of April and later for a longer period.

try tycoon place , lovely big rooms with (i think wifi) 9000 per mth ,,,with swimming pool its about the best you will get for price pool and nice room .. or next door forget the name of place but they also do 9000 per mth.. good luck

Try Canterburytalescafe.com I know they have nice rooms as I stay there when in Pattaya but they will probably be full if short noitice.
