Bamboo

Does anyone know whare i can buy bamboo sticks about 3m long to go against a wall to make it look better and block a view,thanks in advance.

Sorry don't know where to buy. But alternative is to send the family out with the machette. That's what most folks do.

This might be one of those really well-meant, but not very helpful replies.

Take the ring road south past Lamai. Come down the hill with the golf driving range on your right hand side. Somewhere after there, I really am not sure how far, but again on the right hand side, right by the road, is a guy with an open workshop type thing making bamboo stuff. Looks like someones business rather than a retail place. It might be on a bit of a right hand curve. He gave me a bit of bamboo once when I needed a temporary flag pole.

It was Samui for certain! But that is the best I can remember. Sorry!

Have you tried any of the garden centres or nurseries. We once bought rolls of decorative fencing (not wood posts but rolls of bamboo like sticks) about 4 foot in height, they can then be either nailed or tied to balcony/fency/wall & creepers can be grown up them. As I recall they were got from the nursery in Maenam but this was years ago so can't say where they sell them.

yes ring road in lamui. about 100 meters after the old thai boxing gym called thai pinyo. actually better land mark. buddy beer. about 500 meter down on the left. i am sure if u give them the measurements uthey can vut them up. maybe even make u a wall.

the other place it a bit out the way. it is in nathong. near the immergration. they make bamboo hit butthey can make anything out of bamboo if u ask her staff.
