Motor Show 2010 To Kick Off Today

Oh sure, you plug the Bangkok Motor Show, but you don't say anything about the Bangkok Book Fair, where they have books, books, and, um, bookish chicks!

I like bookish chicks.

Unfortunately they're harder to find than the, uh, more eager ladies who actively seek westerners. But I haven't stopped looking.

I've only been to one of these shows, a friend of mine has a dealership in Bangkok. It's amazing to me the amount of money spent on the productions, the singing and dancing, costumes etc. Some of these shows cost 1 million baht to produce. I had a lot of fun, it was certainly a new experience for me. Very bizarre how the girls poise themselves in front of the cars with a mob of cameras gawking at them. I might go again for something to do. I recommend it.

I'm sure putting on a exposition this big cost way more that a mere one-million baht.

Hi Guys,

This was my second car show in Bangkok, and I enjoyed every minute of it. From what I can tell, you are able to place an order on most of the vehicles at the show, with the exception of the concepts of course. . Here are a few more pics....
