March 28, 201015 yr There was a American Car meeting at Sathurday. Monday, tomorrow it have a Muscle Car Meeteng behind Bitec Motor Show. Just for information!
March 29, 201015 yr I went on Saturday, and there were quite a few classic American cars, but none I would call real "muscle." The SS 454 had a small block V8 in it - looked so lonely in that huge engine bay! The funniest thing is a 71 or 72 "Mach I 351 Mustang." It's been repainted in the correct yellow/black accents, but the hilarious thing is that on the real car scoops is written "Ram Air" see enclosed photo, but the car at the show had written "Rare air...." No idea what was under the hood. However, in the inside show room this is a pristine Corvette Stingray, an Porsche speedster 1989, and some other very nice cars. I'll post some pics in a few days. Also interesting is the "pimp my ride" group of cars. Huge group of guys who have lowered, customized etc., unbelievable some of the interiors and stuff. Fun to see.
March 29, 201015 yr Ok, here are a few. Sorry, but my friend took all the pics of the American cars with his camera, but I snapped the 1963? Singray fastback, the E Type, and the rest of these. I'll try to get the other pics later. larger pics here
March 30, 201015 yr Author Went there today Stingray but I didn't see you. Whas there with the green Olds Cutlass. Will post some pictures later today
March 30, 201015 yr Went there today Stingray but I didn't see you. Probably because he saw you first
March 30, 201015 yr Most of the cars from the Thai American Car Club. Here is a video of the last run on Feb. 27th.
March 30, 201015 yr Stinger thanks for the pics, some nice rides there I'm partial to the 60's Vette, GTO, T Bird and the green Stang with the racing stripes. I also liked the idea of placing many of the stickers in the engine bay, nice touch without mucking up the outside of the car..
