But we may have to clarify something here: being a 'son' is not the same thing as a reincarnation.

Reincarnation would be great if you could come back with all the accumulated knowledge from your previous life.

But the idea coming back and having to start over and going through things like potty training sucks.

Especially if you come back as a cockroach.

If awareness of anything after death is anything similar to that prior to our conception, it would not be of much interest to me.
