Plenty of thais throwing ice water up here in Khon Kaen, one pick up with a bunch of thai muppets (and not only teenagers either) had mixed quite a lot of prickly heat powder in with the water & were throwing it at people in the face. got me & my son who spent 10 minutes screaming cause hs eyes were burning whilst I was struggling to comfort him cause mine were burning & blinded too. I think the muppets are everywhere not just farang, although they are the most visible when doing stupid things.

they have droubt preticting in 45 states and my mates said in udon they are pumping water out the lakes for sonkran Happy new year. we have no water left for living

i like this post. couldn't agree more. i locked my car doors becuae last year in phuket some idoit tried to through water innside my car.

the same thing happened this year a pissed up forang. thought that i might not get angry if he through a buck of water inside my car all o ver my sterio, ipod, mobile phones.

tellu what if he my door was un locked and he succeeded i he would have had something thrown back at him and it wouldn't have been water.

a few years ago on a sonkhran driving through lamdin market with my bird on my back. the thais started reafing her up. i was proper annoyed. seems as the day goes on people get more and more drunk and more stupid. thank god we only have 1 day. my mate in Udon said that yesterday was getting worse than the sonkran day. he is a proper white target aswell lol.

I put everything of value in a plastic bag and there it stays until the water throwing is over.

My first Songkran was in 2008. The 13th was on a Sunday. On Saturday evening, I had just finished watching a movie with a friend who offered to take me to my next destination - Zico's. Well, he had been on the island longer and surely knew what to expect, I didn't. Got soaked clean through all the way down Chaweng Beach road. Got the restaurant, told my friend I was too wet (and freezing in there) and that I would wait outside. I went to the shop and bought a big water gun and got payback. Usually on people in the back of trucks.

yep my parrot force feeds me coffee makes me talk allot repeat myself then the parraot repeats me repeating myslelf. seriously if i had a parrot in my house me really bird ( girl friend ) would kill her self for sure.
