Childrens Play Garden

Featured Replies

Sorrry for possible bad English - not my native tongue.

I have a big lawn with a gazebo, orchids and a fish pond.

Now I want to make a playground for the children (mine and the inlaws).

At Bumrungrad, Chiang Mai RAM and Aek Udon hospitals I have seen sliders, tubes, small houses etc. made of 'soft' plastic and in various colors. Has anybody any knowledge of where to buy them, prices and transportation cost to Nong Khai?

Thanks.

A few years back I helped a friend of mine set up a day care center, and we found most of the company contacts info at the annual Children's Furniture/Toy event at Muang Thong Thani in BKK. Here's some of the info I still have in my file here. It's by no means an exhaustive list, but may be a good place to start:

www.kidstep.com

www.punpuntoy.com

www.punpunplayground.com

www.nichiworld.com

www.worldplaysystem.com

We found that the listed prices are ridiculously high, and you can expect anywhere from 30-60% off, depending on what and how much you order. I believe most of them offer shipping thoughout Thailand, and depending on how elaborate your set-up, many will also install and set it up for you.

Thank you very much for the links.

I agree that some prices are far too high, and some of the 'toys' are too 'fancy' for my taste. I will make a combination of plastic, wood with no nails or sharp edges and hamp ropes.

But anyway, the information you have given me is a a very goood place to start sending e-mails and calling them to see if there are any retailers upcountry or if I will have to buy it in BKK and get a small lorry coming up here.

Thanks again.
