Trial Bike

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'd like to buy a second hand real trial bike ( one seater bike with enourmous power at low engine revolution), preferably Japanese brand (Honda); when I say real trial, I mean not a trail bike like Honda MTX, Kawa Tracker and so on; in Europe, good brands are Spanish (Bultaco, Montesa) or Italian (Aprila, SWM) but here it would be safer to buy a Jap. model.

Anybody now where to find one?

Thanks a lot.

You need to clarify just what it is you're looking for.

Is it a "trail" bike? i.e. for off road on trails?

Or is it a "trial" bike? i.e. one you might be testing for possible future purchase?

I believe he means a Trails bike. As ridden by Doug Lampkin or Graham Jarvis, etc.

Which city are you in?

Which one are you in? At least he put something in his profile

Yep, one for going up them there hills, going over obstacle courses, etc. Brother used to have a Yammy trials bike donkeys of years ago, great fun.

Exactely mate a trial bike is a bike you mostly ride on stand up position (not seated) and you can literally climb up almost any obstacles; it is a lot of fun to ride...

your best bet is www.mocyc.com. then go to the classifieds section, then dirtbikes. I see them come up every so often for sale on this site. there is quite a few TRIALS riders here in chiang mai.

Thanks a lot sundaypsychos.

The Montessa is a steal? For riding around in the dirt. I knew Chiang Mai would be the place to go.
