The conditioner in the bedroom has stopped cooling, under my rental agreement i am

responsible for cleaning and servicing the air conditioners.

technically if its run out of gas because of a leak or the thermostat is faulty i would

consider this repairing the unit not servicing it, i will soon find out from the estate

manager.

Does anyone know a good air conditioning service in the chalong area who do not

overcharge and what approximately it should cost.

Chiang Mai pest control do aircon as well, they are in Chalong, i have used them for cleaning and repair, i got a good service from them, i also use them for pest control, maybe thats why

Thanks for the answers including the PM from Joe, The estate manager is arranging for

Chang Mai air conditioning to come today and if its re-gassing or some other repair the

owner will pay, the second air conditioner has gone on the blink now so it looks like i have

had a win for once.

They do a good job, There was a thunder storm before the air conditioners stopped working and people

have had problems with all sorts of electrical appliances, it seems a lot burnt out and had to be thrown away.

the problem is when the electrical wiring is installed they dont put in a proper earth wire or if they do they

earth to the steel in the roof which is absolutely useless, a lot of houses have no earth at all.

I know the house i rent has no earthing, i you surge protectors on my electrical equipment.
