You can do today, the extension will still start from the day your current permission to stay ends. Doing early doesn't mean losing any days.

Good stuff.

Thanks guys. :)

Mine Tourist 60 day expires on saturday May 8. Is it still 2k-bhat for 30 day extension? (I know the info is here just tired of searching for it) Much thanks

1,900 baht for all extensions of stay.

Thanks. This will work out nicely as I had planned to go to Singapore next week. Hopefully free visa's and lower rates later in the month as my buisness there can easily be delayed. So I can kill 2 birds with one cheaper stone :) That and I am having way 2 much fun here in Patters...

A friend asked this yesterday evening. Please advise.

On a two month Tourist visa. Visa expires Monday. Needs to get a 30 day extension but won't be able to make it to immigration until Tuesday.

Is it ok to extend Tourist Visa extra 30 days even though on a one day over-stay?

Thanks in advance.

Will be up to the officer, but often it is allowed but would need to pay 500 baht overstay.

500 baht is no problems. But that bit on "up to the officer" doesn't sound too good.

He actually postponed his trip till Tuesday, as he first thought Monday would be closed due to a public holiday.
