I'm Off To Khaosan Tomorrow Is It Safe.?

Well the title is pretty self explanatory, so is Khaosan Rd still open for business I've got to go to Bangkok for 1 night before I head back to the UK. Just wondering if it is open and if it is relatively safe I'm in Krabi now and a little paranoid about heading to Bangkok :)

This exact subject was covered a couple of days ago. There are now no demonstrations anywhere near Khao San Road at all - they have all moved downtown.
