onnut
Where do you get your news from on the Web? I'm done with BBC news, I think it is too one sided and I am fed up reading the crap on it's website. Watching hardtalk yesterday and then seeing the news about the trouble in Thailand and that's why I think it is one sided. I do not want to use BBC news anymore so can anyone point me to a decent website with world news please? Of course for Thai related news I use Thaivisa and I think they do a great job keeping us in the loop.

IanForbes
Where do I get my news you ask? Why from you folks of course. I'm too lazy to do my own research and I leave it up to the anal ones who always want to be right.

Ulysses G.
They are all promoting their own agenda, but at least FOX has the babes and is entertaining. I find a variety of printed sources on the internet to be much better for serious news.

toptuan
I assume you're talking only about world-wide news. I think using primarily one source is intellectual laziness. I try to access several sources on opposite sides of the spectrum and then assume the truth is somewhere in the middle. My sources: BBC, CNN, Al Jezeira. My family keeps me updated about what's on FOX, although I don't access it personally.

bendejo
Go to google's advanced search page (http://www.google.com/advanced_search) and click on 'news' at the top of the page. You'll get a variety of sources and lead stories. Some good links in this topic, thanks. Some of the topix links were blocked in Thailand, like this one.
