BANGKOK: -- As the last of Bangkok City's 10 flyovers to be repaired, the 17-year-old Prachanukul Intersection flyover's inbound lane towards Ratchayothin Intersection will be closed for a 45-day repairing from May 6 to June 19.

While the outbound lane towards Rama 7 Bridge will close for a 45-day repairing from June 20 to August 3, said deputy governor Pornthep Techapaiboon yesterday.

Hence motorists were advised to avoid the area during the periods and to find information of shortcuts around the area at www.bangkok.go.th , www.trafficpolice.go.th , and http://bkkbridge.homeip.net or call the city hotline 1555 or the traffic police hotline 1197.

The city's scheme had completed the repairing of six flyovers at; the Ratchayothin Intersection; the Bang Phlat Intersection; the Phongphetch Intersection; the Rama 4 (Thai-Japanese) Intersection; the Wongsawang Intersection; and the Din Daeng Intersection. Three other flyovers were being fixed, they were those at Khlong Ton Intersection; Kaset Intersection; and Tha Phra Intersection.
