Hi all,

New member first post.

Coming to Samui for 3 months in August and have an excellent archive of Reggae music on my laptop and a DJ interface called Tractor.

Does any body know any Reggae bars that would let me plug in and DJ for a couple of hours (free of charge).

Hung out at "Our place (or your place was a bit trashed at the time) northern end of Chaweng on the beach last month and will go there to play. This is not your Bob Marley type reggae but rare Dub plates from Early 70s to mid 80s not everybodys cup a tea but reggae lovers will get it.

Any thoughts???

PS anybody need house sitting minding or swap for a house in Byron Bay hinterland (Aust)

I'll find u the audience leroy, just let us know. It won't be as exotic as Samui but the night life can be interesting.

I am not a night owl but those times I go out it would be nice to have something different from country road, scorpions covers and similar, I used to tolerate them really well but after 4 years of the same music I think I might go crazy.. :)

The best raggae I heard in Thailand was on Koh Phayam where Ban Job usually hangs around. There are lots of followers around Pattaya, if only I had the money I'd start something.
