Forget the world cup.

The ONLY match in 2010 that matters kicks off on Saturday 29th, when the mighty Swindon Town play Millwall at Wembley in the league one play-off final.

If anybody knows of a bar that will be playing, please let me know in this thread. I have asked Brian at the crossbar but he isn't sure yet if he will be showing it.

GeekFreak, you gonna be about for this or are you still in Blighty?

What channel is it on?

I spoke with Brian last season about the play-off final, he said he was happy to show it but didn't know how the live streaming worked. Maybe if someone with the know-how and a lap-top could help set it up. I would volounteer but I'm a bit of a technophobe (despite my forum name)

I'm quite sure that it's on sky mate, all the play-off finals are this year.

Think Brian has got it. I spoke with him earlier in the week and he was going to show The Balackpool v Sheepshagers game tonight, but the curfew means he wont be open. Check out on The Crossbar Facebook page as well, as Brian is updating that most days with what is on. Either way, there will certainly be nowhere showing it here in Kanchanaburi :)

Message from Brian @ Crossbar:

Hi James,

I have a slingbox set up in the UK, and I will be showing the Swindon Millwall match.

Due to the present situation I havenot been able to get my TV and Sat Technician to come to the bar. If he makes it hopefully it will be on the TV screens if not it will be on my laptop on a small picture.

Sorry I cant be anymore specific.

About 35k tickets bought by Millwall so far and about 33k by Swindon, good effort by both teams.

I wonder if Stuwall got a ticket.

Bwah don't make me laugh, the Wally's couldn't even sell 1,200 at Huddersfield in the Semi, pathetic as usual..

Yet they'll creep out from under their Stones for a day trip to Wembley..

I hope you stuff them but in a way i wnat them to go up so they get relegated next year & i can't take the p*ss out of them every saturday, strange i know...

:) He may have got a ticket, but will he be able to actually get his seat - as it may already have been sold. :D

Looks like Crossbar is a go - so will be there tomorrow night. GFL Moonrakers??

I look forwards to seeing Swindon in the Premiere league next season :)

Got a load of streams lined up, but for now just this one has been announced.

Can't wait for a great game. Miss having a pint at the Moonies, but it'll have to do.

Alas they remain in League 1, but I couldn't help wondering by how many goals they would have needed to win by to leap a whole division

Well done Millwall, you can keep the mighty Leeds company for another season.
