Suggestions For Decent Cheap Rooms In Karon Beach

Hi Everybody,

Could anybody recommend some decent cheap accommodation in karon beach area, very limited budget around 600 baht a night this weak pound is killing me! If possible with a Pool, but if not any decent sized pools around close by that can be used maybe for a small fee.

Stayed before a few times at Golden Sands for I think around 700 but open to suggestions. Would also be really great if it was a few floors up to help avoid the mossies. Probably asking for too much but any suggestions appreciated.

Leffes guesthouse 400-500tbh aircon room but no pool, but you have karon beach 100meter down the road..

Hi

Try The Kata Villa located opposite the southern end of Karon Beach. This small establishment has a swimming pool, inexpensive restaurant and is conveniently located within walking distance to some good shopping, restaurants and pubs etc. I see that they are currently advertising their rooms at 500 baht per day.

Try Karon Guest House (not Karon Water Guest House), between the circle and the temple. Same owner as Golden Sands (presumably), because you are allowed the use the Pool of Golden Sands for free. My mother has been staying there (long time ago), she was happy with it and the price was very reasonable.
