June 7, 201015 yr Any of the public parks have badminton courts where I could just show up to find a game? Apparently there is a proper court or two at Lumpini, but I haven't found them. Plenty just play a bit of casual badminton outside though, but not the type of thing you can just show up and join in. If you want proper badminton (indoor, like a sauna) there are some groups where you pay about 150 for 2 hours of good hard doubles games. One is in Phra Kanong.
June 7, 201015 yr where are you in bangkok? or check this site out //www.thaibadminton.com if you can't read Thai you'll need some help to see the addresses...but there are lots and lots of clubs in Bangkok.. The Thais call it a buffet.... they play for 2 or more hours in the evenings and its just a turn pay and play in the large group...
