In requesting a retirement or marriage visa can the funds be less than the required amount until the day of requesting the appropriate visa. Example marriage visa $400,000 bhat. So all year your account is less, but you decide to marry, do you top up the account to show $400,000 bhat? Can you use the account to dip below that amount all year as long as you have the required amount in the account at visa renewal or reporting time? Or must you show the required amount in your account for the entire time. In other words can you use your money until reporting time???

You can use the money but must top up before the next application.

Usually 3 months before, but can be 2 months at certain offices for Marriage Extension

I am married to a Thai woman and plan on retiring eventually in Thailand. I thought you had to have 800,000 THB in the bank? Did they change the amount?
