Second-Hand Markets In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Dear all,

I'd be very grateful to hear your advice about second-hand markets in and around Bangkok. I'm aware of Klong Thom, but hear that is mostly car parts, etc?? I am interested in second hand/vintage clothes, jewellery and antiques.

This topic was discussed before, but last relevant post was 2008... i'm hoping for the latest advice!

Many Thanks,

skyhi

Pantip 2, Namwongwan Rd. On the other side of the road from The Mall, and up a bit (Around 500m).

It's an IT Mall, but there are a lot of second hand stalls on the upper floors.

I haven't been there for a couple of years, but last time there was a good mix of stuff. Almost like a boot fair in the UK.

As per the other poster, Pantip 2, go to the 8th floor at the weekend. Also try the 6th floor, some good bargains to be had there.

If from Victory use the 522 bus from opposite the entrance to BTS behind the Monument, first stop after expressway is Pantip, should cost 16 baht as Brown Aircon bus.

If from Mochit the bus 134 or 104 both go to Pantip, stop after the Mall Ngamwongwan.

Sorry I cant tell you where at the moment but my gf said something a fe mos ago about Rachadapisek north on way to lat phrao. Said there was a bunch of stores.
