I have sat in more dentists’ chairs than I care to remember, suffering from poor teeth since my early childhood. Now, at the age of 63, I am pleased to say that Khun Warin, on Pattaya Central Road, is the finest dentist I have ever met, and in my case, that is a significant statement.

Khun Warin is excellent, -positive and caring, and will save teeth whenever possible. Moreover, patient comfort is a major consideration for him. He is simply superb.

I have recommended him to many people, and all, either directly or indirectly to me, have expressed their enormous satisfaction with his skills. If you need more convincing, witness his crowded appointments’ book!

The Dental Care Centre can be found 150 metres from Central/Third Road traffic lights going towards the beach, (and is directly opposite a small pharmacy called ‘For You’ Pharmacy). Tel.no. is 038 720079 Closed on Sundays.

Fully agree with OP :)

I've used him many times and he's the best I've ever come across. Now that you've spread the good news we'll have to book a month in advance. As it is you often have to book 2 weeks in advance.

A word of warning - his wife is not half the dentist he is. My wife didn't like her at all and won't see her again. I feel the same. She just doesn't have the touch. I had to ask her to stop yapping to her assistant (she never stops) and concentrate on what she was doing. I've never had a dentist put me through such discomfort during a tooth cleaning session. I was just about drowning in the cleaning fluid because the assistant wasn't sucking it out. My wife's session was even worse.

This is nothing but an advertisment for a dentist, nobody has asked about dentists. Sorry but I like mine and I would be upset if I had to wait two weeks for attention, not that two weeks awaiting treatment means anything. Cavity filling 500 Baht,no wife (or husband) offering second rate treatment, investigation for 50 Baht etc etc Happy Dental Centre Soi 17 3rd Road south

Hello,

And thanks very much for this information. Have to make a trip to the dentist soon. Is he on Third Road or Pattaya Tai? Please give directions to Dr. Warin's office.

He is in Pattaya Klang left side between 2nd and 3rd road when you go to the beach.About 100m from 3rd road.Opposite to him,on the other side of Pat.Klang there is a pharmacy with a big green board. There are 2 clinics just one near the other .Be sure you are in the right one.....

There is an EXCELLENT and very honest dentist in Central Festival Mall on 2nd Road, floor 4. Not crowded (yet), US/EUR top notch quality and value, very clean. Bridge on 3 tooth cost me $480, same in Europe would cost 4000 EUR and in the USA I didn't made it because they were charging more than $10,000.

Thank you for berating my advertisement for a dentist, and thank you for writing your own! Not the most intelligent of subscribers, I suggest.

Thank you for the dentist info. It is true, that no one asked about a dentist, but the way I see it, there are way too few quality services in this country, and if someone finds good service, then I hope he tells everyone about it. I have done the same a few times also. A business that provides a good service, should be recommended to friends. Isnt that the way free enterprise works?

One can berate anything at anytime. . I take it you have never tried other dentists ,just the first one you happened on and bingo ,he's for me.

I would suggest however that intelligence is not only affixed to your mouth as appears to be,but I for one would certainly not take your promotion of this individual as anything but a personnel liking, one mans meat anothers poison,I have my own dentist who I favour, but I do not openly publicise him ,only in context that others exist. Of course why leave it at dentists, get all the others on board you favour, let's have a go at them as well.

What is Dr. Warin's first name? I want to ask for an appointment with him and not his wife and I assume that they both go by Dr. Warin.

He is actually Khun Warin Leekpai. On the appointment card there is a column for 'dentist' and mine has a "W" in it. I suggest that Khun Warin will be the perfect address.

I have had 2 appointments (out of 4) for root filling and crown work. All I can say is that he is the best dentist I have come across in the last 30 years.

I actually travel 400 km each way and have an overnight stay for each of my visits.

Just picking up on the above from the OP.

Great directions but just be aware that the name "The Dental Care Centre" is not obvious from the outside. I also nick-named that stretch of Pattaya Klang "Soi Dentist" as there are so many.

The main identifying features are yellow "For You" pharmacy, dead opposite and also the phone number 720079 on the sign outside.

I would like to add Dr. Aree at Pattaya International Hospital. Dr. Sornram is great also. Their prices are very reasonable, they have great equipment, and each one has their own specialty. So if you are having your teeth cleaned and need to see somebody about a root canal or about an implant, they just call them over for a visit...and a second opinion. You don't have to rely on only one person's opinion.

They also work with Dr. Jutatip at Queen Sikirit in Sattahip. She goes back and forth between the two hospitals and she is really good for the tough jobs. She did my surgery and was assisted by 2 other dentists at PIH. Incredibly low price....

Mobi recommended me to Bangkok Dental Hospital and it is also a great place. A one stop shop for sure....but don't know about the prices as I mainly went there for a second opinion...

I had a brocken Molar and a part fell off. So I went to a Dentist recommended on TV, he told me that I need a Crown. As I had just a filling in a similiar case, I did not fix it there but went to Dental4you, also recommended on here, just for a second opinion. Went the Dentist told me that he can make a filling (without me asking him to do one), but if it fell out I would need a crown.

I guess thats a honest Dentist and he did a excellent work, did not feel a thing and he did work very careful.

Website is kliick me his Name Dr. Kwanchai.

Totally agree. Dr Aree is some looker and I didn't give a fig what she did, I just lay there and fell in love - yet again. I was so impressed that after leaving the hospital I dashed out and bought a small bunch of roses and took them back to the surgery and presented her with them. She expressed her surprise and asked when we were going to be married. :D I have been taken off the market already or otherwise I would have chanced my arm.

Anybody contemplating using the services provided at you know where, aka the scam hub of Pattaya, where is bound to be disappointed and overcharged.

Bagwan: Mr Aree is married! Happily and just built a new house. Great lady. Sure makes it easier for dental work when she sings.

As for prices, they are in line what what you would pay elsewhere at local clinics. But, IMHO, what separates this place is the array of dentists that can be called on. Dr Aree is kinda of a general dentist. They have a specialist for implants, etc. And they use each other for second opinions. Kind of a one stop shop.

Mr. Aree? Mister??? If so is the best looking katoey that I have ever seen. BTW if you have difficulty in distinguishing between the sexes, women are the ones with bumps in their jumpers. :D

Her married state will not interfere with my memories of all of the glorious fantasies that she fuelled a few years ago. At the time my wife was concerned that when I slept I sported a big grin and often turned the marital bed into a bell tent..
