Hello,

Can you give me advice on the following questions in the fiancee visa application please.

They are :

4.11 Full name of spouse/partner. I assume I put my name here, as in question 1.5 we have put unmarried partner. ( fiancee, lived together in Thailand) The reason I am not sure is that it states " if single go to 4.16", and as we are not married yet, we are technically single.

5.11 income from other sources. My fiancee has her own bank account, with her own savings, and we put some money in it from the sale of our house in Thailand. Is this income from me? as in Friends/Family? In question 5.1 we have ticked " supported by spouse/partner".

8.6.7 Intend to work. Ticked Yes/ Wrote "when her visa permits in the future". Is that OK? Should we also state that she has an Accountancy Degree and an Accountants Registered I.D. She says she will work at almost anything as it is unlikely she will get an accountancy job, should we state this? The notes ask for details of what she intends to do for employment.

Thank you for any help.

4.11 Yes, as she is applying as an unmarried partner, your details go here. As an unmarried partner, she is not single; single means she is not in a relationship with her sponsor, it doesn't mean she is unmarried.

5.11 Yes, any income she receives from any source other than employment or occupation should go here.

8.6.7 Yes, if she intends to work, say so. An unmarried partner can work immediately. Put as much detail as you can about her employment prospects and intentions; if no room on the form then simply put "See sponsors letter" and put them there.

Thank you very much for the advice. Regarding question 4.11, she is applying as my fiancee, is that the same as an ummarried partner? We have lived together most of last year in Thailand, but I have been in the UK for family reasons for 2 months, this was why I was concerned we might be thought of as not being an unmarried couple.

Sorry, I was confused by you saying

in question 1.5 we have put unmarried partner
. To qualify as unmarried partners you need to have lived together outside the UK in a relationship akin to marriage for at least 2 years. So she needs to change Q1.5 to 'single.' I'd still put your details in 4.11.

8.6.7 still put 'Yes,' but add a note to say that you are aware that she cannot work until after the wedding and she has FLR.
