Not All Matches On Thai Tv?

Featured Replies

Yes, with Thai commentary when not in HD.

I'm having a great time using a VPN to connect to the UK. Then downloading the whole matches or match of the day from bbc iplayer and watching them at my leisure... It means I can go to bed at the normal time and get up at normal time. As long as no-one tells me the results! :)

I wish I could do that, I mean be able to wait until the following day, at the minute schedule includes getting about midday and going to bed at 03:30. I don't think I could sleep knowing I'm missing the action!

My problem is my schedule is that I get up at 5.30am each morning to walk the dogs - it's the best time of the morning here.

The last World Cup here I slept all day and watched every game and I meant every single game!... I remember watching Italy win in Fusion (of all places) and the Italians riding their bikes around waving their flags. I haven't drunk alcohol since that night.

However out of the group stages there's only a few games I really want to watch so the BBC Match of the day round-up does for me and the others I just download when they've available...

I have to admit watching the England match the next day didn't feel the same as watching it live, but it was still the same crock of sh*t :)

Matt.

Every match so far on Samui Cable, Channel 52 with English Commentry, not so bad at 4000bt per year subscription

From what I can see Samui cable (the cheap one - probably get it free from landlord -shared- if rent bungalow etc..) has Astro sport with english commentary at the moment, not sure on the legality, strange when you hear the stories of people forking out XYZ for Malaysian cable. Although it may be yanked at any moment.

No i dont rent, i pay 4000 direct to Samui Cable and right now the world cup is on 4 channels, Mexico v Uraguay in Thai on Channel 2 in English on channel 35 . France v South Africa in Thai on Channel 22 in English on channel 52. Brilliant

I know a few people with Samui Cable, disgusting picture quality, like having a snow storm on the screen, the whole time on all channels!

I did see a few minutes of the WC on the Astro, Malaysia satellite the other day, excellent picture quality, but having to listen to the VuVu horns in stereo is worse than in mono!

Tennis anyone? They are playing Wimbledon on one of the channels, 100 something, on True Visions, being broadcast in English! Jolly Good!
