No chopper service at present.There are occasional oil rig operations out of Samui and it might be the Cougar company who are the operators since they specialise in this sort of operation.

There has been plenty of talk of starting various helicopter services but as far as I know it's stayed at talking level and much of it impractical.

Nearest used to be a charter company at Phuket but I think that they have stopped. There are a couple of charter companies in Bangkok and oil rig servicing at Songkla.
