Samui Island Talents 2010 – Charity Auction & Painting Competition

First Art Competition for the benefit of the local community

June 19th 2010 at the Imperial Boat House Resort and Spa Choengmon

Organized by the Rotary Club of Koh Samui

12.00 noon to 6.00pm Original painting competition by local Samui artists.

6.30-7.00pm Public to vote paintings for 1st, 2nd, 3rd price.

7.00pm Auction Starts. At the same time the public can join the Auction and/or have dinner during the painting show.

9.00/9.30pm Award ceremony

A big thank you to all who attended, over twenty Thai artists took part, one fifteen year old girl even flying down from Bangkok with her father to enter the competition and all produced some excellent professional and original results which were much appreciated by those present.

Thanks also to Rubio and his staff at the Imperial Boat House Beach Resort for their invaluable assistance.

The auction raised almost 50,000 Bahts for our charity funds.
