Buying Live Ducks

Featured Replies

I know it is a strange question but does anyone know where I can buy live ducks to keep on a small lake?

If you were in Suirn I could show you BUT since your not find out who is selling duck eggs and back track from there. BTW duck eggs are fantastic.

Buying ducks ? not a strange question, lovely little fellas and their eggs the very best for cooking. But to find and purchase them ??? if all else fails, why not take a drive in the countryside and on sighting ask the owners could you buy some.Make sure you have mix of, a male or 2, and some females and problem solved. With no natural predators like foxes here you should enjoy many years of their company

Ask around. You need to pay for the dom male but the younger birds are quite cheep, about a hundred bt each where I was buying them in Isaan. The females have larger feet and are a bit more expensive than the young males. You want more females than males for laying.

Who will be paying for the duck house when you get them? By the way Geese are fantastic watch dogs and they live on grass.

Any catfish in your lake? They're quite partial to ducklings, I believe...

I've sent you a PM with my phone no.

Simply give me a call to make an appointment, come by, and my wife will take you to a duck breeder where we buy our eggs, close to our village.

Local prices, and I'm sure some breeding advices.
