Featured Replies

hi, can anyone kindly assist me and tell me what to do ?

im a singaporean tourist and is currently staying in chiangmai. i can stay a period of 30 days here which will be expiring in july 12th. i would like to stay here for another 30 days , going back at august 11th , can anyone tell me what are advisable method to prolong my stay here ? firstly, i have to brief u that i did not obtain any tourist visa in singapore before i came so as a singaporean im able to stay here for a period of 30days but i would like to extend my stay for another 30 days , can anyone pls brief me what to do ??? thanks

Fly out and return for a new 30 day stay. Cross border twice for two 15 day stays. Go to Vientiane to obtain a tourist visa and return for up to 60 day stay which could be extended another 30 days.

Not unless you have failed to mention a marriage to a Thai or some such thing.

i dont really get what u mean. ok, i do have a thai girfriend at here in chiangmai so whats the trick ?

If you are a tourist and only other factor is a GF there is no alternative. The most you would be able to obtain from Immigration would be 7 days for 1,900 baht and could also require proof on transport out of Thailand within that period of time. The options in post 2 are available to you.

There is no trick. Lopburi asked unless you were married to a Thai woman, and did not mention it in your post, there would be another option, visa based on marriage.

Yes. Enter by plane and get 30 days.

Enter by Bus, Car, Walking etc. get 15 days.

Get a free Tourist Visa from a Thai Consulate get 60 days.

Marry your Girlfriend and get a 60 day extension from Immigration. ;)

Fly to a neighboring country and get 30 days. Go by land and get 15 days. Thoes are your two choices. Good luck!
