Looking For Public Swimming Pool Thonburi Side

Featured Replies

I´m looking for a public (outdoor) swimming pool at Bangkok Thonburi side of river

Phasi Charoen -Bang Khae

Must be at least 25meters, and cheap :D

At the intersection of the Talingchan Road and the new freeway that runs up from Siam University (on PhetkasemRoad), there is a swimming pool on the north side of Talingchan Road. The best way to see it is to stand on the pedestrian bridge that crosses Talingchan Road. I have never been in the pool, so nothing about operating particulars.

I couldn´t find Taling Chan road on map..

Perhaps you mean intersection of Borommaratchachonnani & Ratchapruk Road ?

No. The road that you are calling Boromratchanani is generally known as Talingchan Road, once you get that far out. The pool is not as far west as Ratchapruek, but s located at the major north-south expressway about 3-4 km east of, and parallel to, Ratchapruek.

In my last post, i completely forgot to mention that there is a swimming pool at The Mall Bang Khae. It is on the furth floor, near the back. If you are there in the morning before The Mall opens, you need to use the lift at the back. Bathing caps required, but sold on-site. Annual memberships are available.
