I'm coming up to BKK for the first time in ages this weekend. A Singaporean friend has asked me to get him a couple of pair of 10 oz gloves, focus mitts, hand wraps etc. He's very specific about it being 'Twins' gear. He's a gym instructor and seems to know what he wants. I on the other hand have only a vague knowledge of this stuff. I assume the shops at Lumpini Stadium should be the best place to go? Are they all of a muchness? Any idea about prices?

would say Lumpini would be the cheapest, everywhere else tends to add on their mark up a little, for 10 oz gloves around 1000-1100 a pair, wraps about 200 a pair, focus mitts not sure about 800-1000 a mitt I think, there are two twins shops there one big new one out on rama 4 road in front of the stadium and a smaller one just by the ringside entrance

I went to both the Twins shops in the end (big shop didn't have any focus mitts in stock). Got everything my friend asked for and your guesstimates about prices were close to the mark. Only problem was getting it all in the bag to come back to Singapore! Thanks for your help.
